FAQs
How long does it take to create the piece?
The hand-digitising and production time is approximately 10 working days. If your requirements are complex, we will advise you of the length of time it will take us to complete your piece. Equally, should you require your piece sooner, please contact us before placing your order as we may be able to fast-track it for you.
What if I need my order in a hurry?
If you need your order in a hurry or to be delivered by a specific date, please
contact us before placing your order to make sure that we can meet your needs.
What if I only want to use a few words from a long letter?
Simply send us a picture of the words you would like us to embroider and we will create your piece for you. Also, include a note explaining what you would like the piece to include in the notes section when you are placing the order. If something isn't clear, we will contact you before starting work.
Am I able to select a few words of one part of a note,and then a few words of another part?
Yes, because we digitise by hand, we are able to move individual words or elements around to fit your requirements. Equally, we may recommend that we move words contained in a long sentence across two or more lines to ensure that they fit
within the available space and are easy to read. We will not do this without your permission.
What happens if you can’t use the photograph I uploaded?
We will contact you to arrange for you to send us an alternative photograph.
The original piece of handwriting, doodle or drawing I would like to use isn’t in great condition. Is this a problem?
Our digitising is carried out by hand so the quality of the original piece of handwriting, doodle or drawing is not so critical as it would be if we were scanning and auto-converting. So long as the handwriting/marks are legible, we will be able to work with it.
Am I able to request an alternative fabric for the background?
Yes. Please email us at studio@crecora.com to discuss your
requirements in advance of placing your order. We have access to a range of fabrics and colours so are able to meet most requirements.
Please note that depending on the fabric chosen an additional cost may be incurred. This will be discussed with you in advance of confirming your order.
